This site (maddietavares.dev) is a personal portfolio. It doesn't sell anything or run ads, and it collects very little information about visitors. This page explains what is collected, why, and by whom.

Hosting & server logs

This site is hosted on Vercel. Like most hosts, Vercel automatically logs standard request data for every visit — things like IP address, browser/device type, referring page, and request timestamps — for security, performance, and abuse-prevention purposes. I don't have a dashboard of this data myself; it's handled under Vercel's own privacy policy, linked above.

Cookies & tracking

This site does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. No cookie banner is shown because no non-essential cookies are set.

Contact form

The Contact page includes a form for reaching out. When you submit it, your name, email address, and message are sent to Formspree, a third-party form service, which forwards the submission to my personal email inbox. I use that information only to reply to you — it isn't added to any mailing list, sold, or shared with anyone else. Formspree's own privacy policy governs how they handle the data in transit and in their systems.

Third-party links

This site links out to places like GitHub and LinkedIn. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which I'd encourage you to check if you're curious how they handle your data.

Children's privacy

This site isn't directed at children, and I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If what this site collects ever changes (for example, if analytics are added later), this page will be updated and the date above will reflect the change.
